Default Anyone care what kind of engine is in their car?

We have never quite understood why people care what brand of chip is inside their computer. It's like buying a car based on its engine; yes, it has to work, and yes, it needs to have a certain minimum level of power, but beyond that, there are more pertinent considerations. Legroom, for instance. Or, in the case of a computer, whether it runs the latest games and programs.

I only care if it has a strong responsive power curve, and doesn't weigh much or take up too much space

it's human nature to want to have the best kind of anything even if you dont need it or use it.
