Default white instrument panels for WRX dash/gauges

I tried a search.
Has anyone seen aftermarket white instrument panels for the WRX to make the speedo, tach, temp and gas gauges white, like the old 2.5 RS? And if so, where can one get 'em? And if you got 'em... pics.
Thanks!

Unhappy Me too!

I'm also one of many in the (fruitless?) search for white face guages for my WRX. Or perhaps just a white face for my current guages.

Huh? You going to fabricate them from the gauges? Paint them? No offense, but I'd rather get them true afterarket - I'm sure at some point someone is going to have a white instrument panel/gauge kit.

Hmmmm... anyone want to send their panel in? I'd rather not, but your source ever gets it done and sells them, and you can post pics, I'd be in line.
Thanks.

If you can get them made, I would be interested as well. Please keep me updated.

Don't want the indiglo stuff...Just a simple white face guage with the stock green lights

Why don't you guys get the Indiglo guage overlay- they're only about 30 bucks or so- and not connect the indiglo wires- you'll still see the stock lighting- I know because I have the indiglo guages and didn't unplug the lights from my stock cluster and you can see the light around some of the edges.

Default I found these...

http://importcarpartsplus.com/wrxgauges.htm and these http://importcarpartsplus.com/wrxhvacover.htm

I ordered them last week and expect them sometime next week. I'm not sure with the holiday though, it may be longer. Nonetheless, I will post my thoughts on them when I get them.

I like the look of the white-faced gauges, but I wasn't a fan of the Indiglo. This way I can always change the color of my illumination.

Have Fun,
Tom

Default I got my gauge overlays

Good Evening-

I got my gauge overlays in the mail today. I must say that I am presently suprised. The rep said it would be something lik e9-10 days to get the order. I t has only been a week. So far so good!

I was reading through the install instructions and found that you are you remove your needles to install these. I remember reading that this wasn't always best. I started a new thread that asks the question of removing the needles or not.

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...postid=3076196

Other than that I can't wait to put these in. They look very nice. I will post before and after pics when I get the chance.

Have Fun,
Tom

STOP! do not remove your needles- the overlays bend enough that you can get them around the needles- you just need to rotate the needles the proper amount to get the overlays on. If you remove your needles, you may have problems with guage accuracy later on- by the way, at least your instructions were in English- mine were in Japanese

Here are some install instructions for the reverse indiglo gauges (white in the day, blue lettering at night):

Here is how the gauges look like:

Default A Quick Question...

This is my latest post from this thread:

I'm reluctant about using stickers, because I may want to uninstall this mod and I don;t want the factory numbers, markling, etc. to be removed when or if I remove the gauge overlays. I was thinking about transferring these stickers over to tranparency paper then cutting out the stcikers on the sheet. I think this will work.

Does any one have any thoughts on this?

What are the indiglo gauge overlays, stickers or panels?

Have a Great holiday,
Tom

I was wondering if any of you guys had any thoughts on this.

Thanks, Happy Holidays!

The Indiglo guage is a panel, NOT a sticker- no worries there- I wouldn't use a sticker either- what if you wanted to change it back, right? Happy Holidays!

Default Transparancy paper...

I would use clear acetate, like overhead projector sheets. Should be a little more durable.

www.nrauto.com

they make GREAT white face overlays at about $100 per set but they do not make white for the wrx yet (they do however have indiglow, see below).

i dealt with these guys back in my clubsi.com days and had them do the same deal for the club. basically 50 people pre-pay and then nr will do up tha gauges after all the payments are confirmed. i emailed them awhile back so if someone who is a vandor here wants to set something up with them please do.

i would love to have a quality set of these in my car. they are plastic overlays with oem backlighting. in general they slip over the existing gauges so you won't have to remove the needles. great stuff, and the fonts, sizes etc all match perfectly. also, if we wanted to, we could have them replace the "impreza" emblem on the tach with a "wrx" emblem.................

http://www.nrauto.com/sub_index.asp?spage=FAQ

bomb them with emails here: info@nrauto.com

I just three from different email addresses myself.

Let's get some white-faced gauge overlays.
