I am not a human dyno, but I have never been so impressed with an intake. I always thought an intake made noise becausde I never noticed any gains from it. Well if I were the judge I beleieve the numbers. The intake picked up the power though out the rpm range. Also it killed the lag I once had between 3500-4500. Before the inintake it felt like the car would struggle and it was not going to move... Now the car keeps climing in power and torque

well human dyno's, although subjective, are still helpful! hehe

thanks crazee, hopefully I'll be able to pick up an intake within the next few months!

I received mine direct from Injen... They are about a mile away from my house.. As for noise it does quite well until you munch it. When you floor it, man that thing roars.....

so the maf sensor goes inside of the metal tube instead of attatching to the tube?

Thanks for the pics, man! Looks nice.

Now if only I could get mine from JRP!!!!

I wouldn't order from them ever again. Ya'll have been warned.

I placed my order in April, or early May. No word. I call, they don't call back.

Luckily they don't have ANY of my money because it is COD.

Looks like I'll be waiting for a distributor in the states, cause Canada is on my ****list right now.

Sorry, I guess what I meant to say was, most intakes I've seen have the circular maf "section"? (am i using the right phrase), similiar to when people bolt on that adapter for the DIY intakes, but I noticed that the metal injen tube is completely uninterrupted (ie, no plastic maf sleeve, section?)

oh ya I got it now... hehehe Sorry about that. Ya they went ahead and duplicated the flang and the exact sensor placement in the tube so the sensor gets the accurate reading.

Hmm, maybe that's how they get their 17 horsepower. Since they duplicate the sensor within their tubing, they probly more accurately measure air with out disturbances in the flow, which probly also prevents CELs.
Weren't previous years with MAF sensors simply bolt up-adapters to the maf sleeve circly thingy instead of like this new injen one?

Well knowing that I have a 2000 Ford Focus with the same style sensor. I came to learn that this style sensor is real delicate with its readings. So you could either gain or lose if the position is changed in any way. We had this problem when Injen first made the intake for my Focus. I know they are two total different cars, but somehting I picked up on how this sensor works wth computer to give better readings for fuel.
