Sort of interested in the springs at least. Why are you deciding to take them off?

Looking at HA coil-overs for spring.

Better to take the suspension off the car before winter and save on salt wear and tear.

That and the suspension is less than 6 months old. Put them on the car earlier this spring.

Ahhh.
Bet you wish you shelled out the cash initially now. Kinda wish I had just bit the bullet and ordered the P1 I really wanted instead of pissing about with getting seperate struts and springs. I remember riding in your car awhile ago.. I have the v5 struts now too. Thinking maybe Ill go with Tein s-tech mediums. around 225/200. Im sure you'll get a better deal as a set. What are you getting HA's for? $$$?

The STi V5 struts are the red inverted ones.
The Sti V4 struts are the red NON-inverted ones.

Hmm the kit is 4 months old and have a whopping 10,000 miles on them. Perfectly broken in. I have never been offroad in them, but have participated in several AutoX's over the last 4 months.

Ride quality with only 18mm rear sway bar is only slightly stiff (needs 100 miles to break in newly tightened bolts). Very livable ride quality. The car is lower about 20mm. When I hit a large dip, the car will only rebound once and settle. Minor cracks in the road can be felt, but is not uncomfotable. If you add solid links front and rear the ride gets worse. The ride will also get worse if you are using heavy tires. ex. I am currently using Pirelli P7000 SS, which I believe to be heavier than the stock Bridgestone RE92. Ride quality has suffered with them. On the other hand, the Subaru rode beautifully with the lighter Dunlop SP8000 summer tires that were on the car for 4 months and subsequently melted. (Through no fault of their own )

Lets see, Rallispec currently sells the kit for an amazing $750. I bought the kit for nearly double that.
Past history of course. I am willing to let the kit go for $500 that is springs and struts AND if you can get your car to Donnie's house, I will pay for the install. (Hey Donnie, I'll call you later. )

However, if you want it shipped, remember that the kit weighs nearly 75 lbs and will take up around 2 or 3 large boxes... I'd rather sell to someone local and drive it to them or get together somewhere in the middle.

The kit is still on my car with 18mm bar and heavy Pirelli tires. If you would like to try it, feel free to drop me a line.

No, this is not the kit from England. I bought the kit this last spring from Rallispec. It is their StiV5/Eibach pro combo kit. I am also willing to split the kit up, apparently there is a raw market for the STi V5 struts, as well as the Eibach pro springs...

The problem with mods is the affordability aspect of them. Then when you have what you want, along comes something else better/more expensive. Its all part of the game.

Of course this could all be a ruse. And I could be planning on competing in G-stock next year.

Were those the inverted Bilstien struts? I'm sure people would be interested in that fact. The Eibach's have a legend of their own (good springs by reputation and function).
