Default How to remove the Green film behind the odometer

Hi does anybody here know how to remove the green film behind the odometer??
(I have already removed the green film behind the dial and was stuck on this odometer)
Really need your help

yeap scratch it off, its a PITA!

i dont recommend it because it makes the black areas of the cluster look gray

Hi pityr Thanks for your info.....

I had already sand off those green film behind the dial and left only odometer(the digital meter that show the distance you travel).I did do a search and not much info on this.
So need help on this.

can you reverse polarity so that the background is black and the numbers are green? cuz that's what i'd do if i knew how. i know kids back in high school were doing it to their watches... isn't there a film you can just flip over?

I did take a look on the LCD screen.Seem like cannot be done cause the film is in between two piece of glass.

it looks like it's layer 5 in the above diagram that must be flipped. can you take a picture of the ODO display out of the cluster?

I lift up with a picer seem like all of the layer are stick together.

I will try to remove the green film again this coming weekend and will take a pic for you...

I just did it yesterday. BE VERY CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My tach is now 1k off in the high end and I can't find ANYWHERE to get it recalibrated.....

Default odometer color change

Back when i had a focus i did this and it worked i dont know if it will work for our subies. but its worth a try.

Just add the www. because i have under 10 posts. what can i say i have only had the car for 2 weeks.
