Default axleback fitment question

I have a 96 legacy gt and i found a Ganador axelback exhaust from a jdm 95 legacy bg5 that i could get for cheap. I was wondering if it would bolt right up to my car. Thanks

Yeah I saw that too and was wondering the same thing, not going to bid on it but would be interesting to see if it fit, It looks like it should from the picture they give you. Definitely would a very unique exhaust if you got it.
Peace,
Kyle

It should fit but you MAY have issues with tail clearance as many of the JDM cars (although not sure about yours) have different bumpers than the USDM models. Give it a try though, if anything I think out bumpers would be higher so clearance shouldn't be an issue, and if it is, CUT, BANG and MASH.

...or just zip-tie 2 exhaust hangers together to let lay down a bit lower like I did

as long as your '96 is a bg you shouldn't have any hanger problems, unless the problem comes with the bumper, but like tora said our bumpers should be higher

AFAIK the only difference between the BD and BG tail sections are the length of the final pipe, with the BG version being about 4" longer. All hangers line up. Subaru dealers are now only offering BD tail sections for both cars, or the other way around....

I put a BD GT tail section on my BF, hangers lined right up, I just had to have the tip extended a bit.

Its possible the fit will be okay as is, depends on how Ganador builds them for extension or lack thereof.

Yep, any muffler shop can handle it in just a few minutes.
