Default Did a search... recommended tire size for RS wheels

Maybe i'm a search n00b, but i can't seem to find any suggestions for what size tire would be best suited for RS wheels.

I'm picking up a set for my WRX because
-They're cheap
-Lighter than my Rota Tarmacs
-And 16" tires should be cheaper, right?

I'm guessing 225/XX/16 should be fairly reasonable, right?

If you're concerned about weight (and who isn't?), stay with the best 205/55 you can afford.

plenty of cheap 225/50/16 tires @ www.tires.com with free shipping
i think its the best size but the wrx wheels are only 6.5 wide, so you're gonna experience some sidewall flex but you should be okay.

ruh roh!

rucky me, no rubbing on the WRX with 225/45/17, so i won't expect that issue with tires too. gonna go ahead and get kuhmo MX in 225/50/16 for the RS wheels once i wear out the stock RE92s.

PS kinda scared about driving on RE92s

just got 225/50/16 pero nero installed yesterday

used a 3mm spacer to keep them from rubbing the struts.

it just barely barely rubs against the fender lining, however i am going to get my fenders rolled anyway.
