Default Good deal, or no? <edit> YES! referral inside...

Hey folks, glad to be here!
We just purchased an '05 Legacy GT Ltd., manual trans., with STi pedals, Momo shifter w/ short throw, extended armrest, spoiler, amp/subwoofer, and autodimming mirror with compass. When all was said and done, our OTD price was $25,081. This was after the $1,500 dealer incentive cash-back. What do you think, good deal? My fiance is nervous about this price, but considering we were looking at Foresters for the same price, I'm pretty positive that the deal was good. Any opinions?

Edit: The dealership I bought from is Diablo Subaru in Walnut Creek California. My wonderful salesman was Frank Romez. He can be reached at (510) 776-9261. Tell him Jeremy Howard sent you...if enough folks call, I'm gonna see if he can throw me a bone. Car cover, maybe? lol...

I'm certainly not an expert at what current LGT prices are, but that number looks quite good.

Keep in mind, the exact same car will sell for slightly different amounts in different parts of the country.

True...I'm in California, and we have some emissions and tire taxes, but when we were researching on the Subaru site and building it, the MSRP was $30,577 + t/l/doc fees. The car is a rocket, by the way...on my test drive I smoked some guy in a Porsche Boxter.
The little lady is already having doubts about this car...she wanted something practical, I wanted an STi, so this was the compromise, but I think we're closer to what I wanted, lol. The dealer says that they call the Legacy GT the "Gentleman's STi", and said that they had a guy whose wife made him return his STi because he drove it too damn fast, and said "it's me or the car...". He got the Legacy GT, drives the same way, and she's none the wiser...

What dealership did you buy at? I would jump all over a deal like that. I am on the peninsula. PM me details if you could.
