depends on the octane really.

you'd better have excellent knock detection.

91 octane. havent had any knocking yet but im relying on my stock detection system and my ear.

dont know if it helps but injectors are 100% idc at about 12 psi.

still it is flowing signifigantly more cfm at 10 psi than the vf-12 at 10 psi

i did the same thing vf-10 (very simmilar to vf-12) to a td05 a the same psi it pinged bad enought that i thought i blew it up at the same psi

mine works fine up to 15.

i dont know about now though. the dam header spiked it up to 17 for about 3 seconds before i let off when i was trying to get it to hold 15 after i put the header on. now i think i may have blown something. ill find out sometime next week.

how about this
10% more displacment than a wrx
11% smaller injectors than a wrx (390vs 440)
22% bigger turbo than a wrx (505cfm vs 390cfm @14psi)

i know i am running lean, but that wasnt the question.

i am woried about the car but i think its mostly the header. but again the question was about timing.

Your question is pretty impossible to answer.

Sure, timing adjustments can be made on an untuned car to make more power.

Can you squeeze power out of your car with timing adjustments? I have no idea and don't see how anyone here could possibly respond with an answer.

no its not the headder its the radical lack of fuel

like i said before reduce timing until you get more fuel

you could add some advance it will have more power for one pull-> det. and blow up
you need to get your A/F in control befor you play with advance

have you put a wide band on your car?

i havent started tuning it yet, and i havent put a wb o2 in yet either. ill do that when i start tuning.

i was told that you can get more power with timing than with boost or something to that effect, which is why i asked the question

get injectors NOW. Pull timing all the way back to the stone age. Find a guy that can tune worth and damn and have at it.
