Default Looking for another motor

Where is the best place and if online would be better to find a low mileage used NA ej25 00-04 RS, Forester or Legacy motor. The junk yards around here don't have any but I am going to keep looking. I hit 150K just over a week ago and want a fresher engine and take the old motor and keep the old one for a future build up.

Well, there's always good ol' Ebay, I just did a search for "subaru engine" over there and it looks like there are a few of the generation you're looking for.

You can also try www.fsautoparts.com , which is a Subaru-only salvage yard in NW Connecticut. Not exactly close to you (since I gather you're in OK, or wherever "DSP#95 Kartboy.com" is ), but they should have tons to choose from. That's where my totalled '99 ended up, and I went there to salvage some parts from it. They have dozens and dozens of donor cars there, and since it's New England most of them are Outbacks (hence soccer mom driven, low stress motors).

I have one for sale. It's got 75,000miles on it. Out of a 99 RS. I'm looking to get rid of it pretty cheap. PM or MSN me if you are interested.

No, I need one with about 30K. Mine has just over 150K now with lots of hard miles and autocrossing since 2000.

150k thats nothing i had a 87 wagon with 280k and it ran great.
about your case you could always rebuild yours and put it back in

or just look on websites like this one or i-club i sometimes see great prices on motors most have over 50k but at good prices

or you could go to gr8wheels for jdm parts.

Then if you want to spend some $$$$ and have a kick a$$ suby Crawford Performance makes preformance blocks up to a 2.8L.

Well good luck
