Selling my house and maybe my STI

I'm going to move to a golf community in Arkansas so I've got a nice little detached house for sale in Edgewater, MD just south of Annapolis. For $230k it is a nice place for a single person or an adult and one kid. Or a couple with no kids.

I have 3 vehicles, which is way too many to move by myself. If anybody is interested in an 05 STI with 9k miles I would sell it for $26k. I'm 56 years old and I don't abuse my cars so this one is perfect. Never launched or tracked and always stock.

Platinum Silver Metallic. No mods of any kind. It does have EVO Advan 046 tires on it with a spare set of P Zero Nero M&S for the winter. The only options are the boost gauge and the security upgrade. Sticker was $33,299. Service records for the oil changes.

Replied to the PM. I'm moving to Hot Springs Village, which is about 10 miles outside Hot Springs.

I might have sold my house today. A little old lady (83) pulled next door to look at a similar house for sale but nobody answered the door. I told her my place was going on the market next week and asked if she wanted to look at it. She liked it and seems a serious buyer. It would be pretty cool because I would save $11k in real estate commissions in a private sale.

This is the house I'm trying to get. They accepted an offer of $134k. It is right on the fairway. There are plenty of other houses with similar prices. Cheaper even if you don't need the direct golf course frontage.

I hope it works out for you. However if I was 83 and a woman, I wouldn't be walking into some random guys house who he says is soon to be for sale. She's lucky you're not some psycho killer.

Maybe you get less afraid once you turn 82. Anyway now I can't get a hold of her. Hope she didn't croak. I was already acting like the place was sold.

The sale to the little old lady fell through so I'm temporarily pulling the STI off the market until I get a firm offer on the house. I'd hate to sell the STI and then find out I wasn't moving because I don't have enough cash to replace it. My house will show up on the computer listing service on Thursday so maybe I will get some action by the weekend.

You may want to hold on to the Sti a little while longer even when you do get to move to Arkansas. There are a lot of great roads here.
