Stiguy247 my brother thought of the same idea, but I think that it wouldnt be able to cool the air fast enough when you are at higher boost levels.

Hybrid intercoolers are rated quite highly here in the UK and also in Australia where I believe thay are made.

It depends what you want from it really and what power/spec you're looking to run it with. 5-600bhp has been done with them several times.

many most all

Are you guys talking about that liquid-to-air, and air-to-air combo IC. That thing is crazy $$, and just too much garbage. One good IC of either design will work fine. Why do both at once?? If your going to plumb all that stuff for a liquid unit, then why the heck add a air-to-air beside it ontop of motor?

I am actually looking at the Hybrid IC right now for my car. They are very very popular in Australia and in the UK like Playsatan said. Just watch out for fake Hybrid IC's that are are ebay, you dont want to spend $700-$1K for a generic knockoff Interfooler.

AC evaporator wouldn't be able to flow near enough air.

if they are talking about what i think they are talking about it is a mix between a bar and plate/ tube and fin design. It is "supposed" to help with the benefits of each design.
