Default Pedal to the floor! Brake pedal that is.

So I just completed a drum to disc conversion on my 96 Brighton with the parts coming off a 2001 RS. I was wondering if any of you out there in auto land know whether I need to upgrade the master cylinder to accomodate. Also worthy of note: I replaced my one-pot fronts with the stock two-pots off the RS as well. So I guess my question is this: Is the RS master cylinder bigger than that of a Impreza L or Brighton? Thanks a lot.

Andy

I have 4-pots in front, converted the rear to disc's and I dont have a problem w/ my stock master cylinder. I will upgrade to the bigger MC in the future but it seems to work well for me right now.
Thanks
Rick

Thanks for the input. I guess I'll try bleeding them again. The stopping power seems fine but it feels wierd with all the brake pedal travel. Thanks again.

Haha I had this problem after i did my rear disc swap. You just need to bleed the s**t out of everything and then you will have pressure. Also make sure bleeders are facing the right way, double check everything, and make sure the calipers are on right if you can even put them on wrong. Good luck though I am sure that you'll get everything worked out just fine.
