Default STG 4 VF-30 323WHP 278TRQ Mod list

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a...fe/9daf1b8a.bmp <dyno plot>

I just got back from turbo xs saturday. I'm pleased with my results.
I pulled 278whp 233 trq before tuning and when they finished I ended up with 323 whp 278trq , they said they never seen a stg 4 car with the pinks and vf 30 make that kind of power.
I would highly suggest taking your car there for a utec tune.
Nathan and Jermaine really hooked me up , thanks again for the awesome tune.
I also took it out to monrovia 7580 dragway just to see what i could manage with out beating the car , My best time was 12.78@106.18 with a 1.78 60 ft time .That was my last run and it was going lower each run . I had to learn where to shift with the new power band , I know it could probably do 12.6 however i'll probably never run it.

Shell v-power 93 octane
mobil 1 with lucas oil teatment engine and tranny
UTEC
helix top mount
STI pinks
VF-30
wahlbro 255 fp
thermo tech wrapped borla header
ERZ racing up down pipe both wrapped
blitz nur-spec catback
Perrin turbo inlet hose
AEM CAI
AEM alternator pulley
ebay grounding kit
pivot voltage stabilizer
crucial racing 160 thermo stat
one step colder copper plugs

I thinks thats about it

Sounds like a good, cost-effective setup. Congrats on the numbers.

i assume ur catless by the good #'s on a VF 30.
good times w/ the 1/4 mile times too.

im sure if u were a little more aggressive with ur driving, u could of got a mid 12 sec run or better.

I think it's pretty good stuff , i first saw it back at a NOPI event and the guy told me it was dyno proven, I figure it cant hurt , I dont burn any oil so it must be good + it's officially a NHRA recognized company .

well i know lucas is great for bandaids on used car lots. you can take any POS and put that stuff in it and it will quit smoking and sound good.....for a bit. funny this is the first time ive seen it used in a car thats good to go.

This is not the lucas heavy duty treatment it's the new vehicle formula, designed for light weight synthetic oils.

19.5psi in 4TH gear, Nathan told me i got a good VF-30 to hold that amount of boost.
He basically tunes the cars till they aren't making easy power so he said he didn't have to push the car.
But i got a daily driver map at about 16psi that i'm running now.
They also gave 3 variations of the low boost map for progressivly cooler weather

So that was flywheel hp/tq or wheel? With those 1/4 mile times seems like flywheel is prob it.

They always say "Flywheel" - note the Torque Correction Factor of 1.0 - it's wheel horsepower. the dynapack always reads slightly higher

Are you guys on crack? I dont see why people are still doing this to WRX's since the STi came out. There are at least 3 STi's in the private for sale classifieds with 15k or less miles going for $24k. Imagine having one of those for $24k and putting the $3-5k in parts and labor that you put into your wrx. Now that would be cost effective and fastAr.
I'm not knocking your setup at all, I had a similar setup with a vf34 back in 2001. But I just dont see the cost effectiveness. My setup is in no way cost effective either. Plus if you started with an STi it would be way more reliable.
Do you have a c16 tune also? That would hall some booty. Sweet 60' time too. I wish i could drive like that.
