Is the AT trans the same in all scoobies?

I love my car, but the Auto Trans leaves a lot to be desired, a lot. Was driving my GF's civic around and that trans was blowing mine away.

I'm just wondering if the other Subaru's have the same trans (Baja, Outback) because after only a year, I'm either ready to trade for one of those, or jump ship to another brand.

Granted I'd love a turbo, but can't justify spending that much more.

the new Legacy has a better auto. And actually, as long as the car isn't underpowered they aren't too bad. Your car is underpowered and a bit heavy=sluggish.

A civic is probably 6-800lbs lighter than your car. Sure the engine is smaller, but it doesn't have to haul around your car...and drive all four wheels.

Your car is a 4 speed automatic, and the new LGT comes with an optional 5EAT 5 speed automatic. Much nicer, but still an automatic
