I need to get a good cheap computer chair from somewhere like Staples or Office Max. I don't really have any requirements, just that it has arms and a good lock on the tilt feature so it doesn't fly back at any point.
I had one of those aueron chairs (the ones with netting on the back and bottom, I probably have the name completely wrong) at work a few years ago, but I know those are serious bank. If anyone knows other places to get chairs too that would help. I'd like to spend less then $150 if possible, but I'd sort of like a chair which will last me a long time too.

Yea, but I'd still like an idea of a good chair.

I actually haven't had a "computer" chair in years. I just find a regular comfortable chair at Ikea or something. I don't need armrests since I'm usually typing or using the mouse, and I've never needed a chair with wheels at home. |

good and cheap don't normally go together. Ebay is going to be your best bet to combine both criteria.

My chair. It kicks ass. Only chair that has proper lumbar and lateral support.

Aerons are overrated. I really like my chair. Really really like it. You can't beat $80 too.

I don't really think so, I just think for what I can pay its overpriced. I loved it when I worked at this office supply company, but I'm not spending 2 months rent on a chair.

I sat in an Aeron for 4 years. They're overrated.

I just bought a manager's chair at staples. I'll dig for the receipt tomorrow to find the exact model. It was $50 marked down from $120 I think. Leather managers chair.
plunk10 prefers the "fly back at any point" tilt feature, but it can be turned off ![]() |
