Thanks...

This was on a rural road, no traffic other than the power-mad trooper who was approaching me as I was crowding the center of the (unmarked) road. By far the most irritating, gung-ho cop I've ever encountered.

I was driving my wide-load Buick at the time and there's no shoulder to speak of.

blah blah blah. you just said you were crowding the center of the road. even if it's unmarked, it's supposed to be for two way traffic unless otherwise posted.
