Default Is there any way to wire up a shift light?

Just as the title says! Do you guys know of anyway to wire up a shift light without buying an aftermarket tach? I just want to know because I usually have my wheel tilted all the way down and can't see the tach when I'm getting on it....plus, don't like looking down too much while driving fast.

I just wanted to know if anyone has any ideas!

I saw those....looked interesting, but I prefer to have my radar detector plugged in ALWAYS!!!!

I found some on Ebay for like $%37 plus shipping. Looks like that'll be what I'm going for.

If you owned a civic, you would have a port pre-wired for it. Please don't do this, learn how do drive with-out it. It's a waste of money.

It's always a sad day in TXIC when people put more effort into not being friendly then they do helping to answer questions.

Oh wait, that's almost everyday!

Next I want a 3' Aluminum spoiler (I think APC makes one) and a Type R phone holder! then I can get one of those LED shift knobs with the Subaru logo on it.....that would be da bomb.

It's a joke...calm down and call my mom.
You also need the L.E.D. nitrous purge valve but back off the typeR cell phone holder, I have one.

I'm not upset....I just don't get to use this ( ) too often. I'll let the typeR cell holder go, if you let me get my shift light. By the way...you should upgrade to the TypeS holder....it's 1.3oz lighter and shaves two tenths off the quarter!

Tell your mom I tried to call, but it was busy. I'll try again tonight

all this talk of shift lights has made me want to get one. Maybe i will trade a Injen Intake and a m/-\D t1t3 JDM blinker fluid reservoir for one.

There was a circuit posted here somewhere to build your own. It only used half of the chip, so you could have it set for 2 lights. Have a green and a red on each side of your powerband, so you also know when to down shift.
