Default 02 2.5rs brake options

I am in need of replacing my brake pads and rotors on my 02rs and was wondering who has better than oe brakes for the car. I also want to do stainless steel brake lines. Any links, info, prices, etc would be great. thanks

You can upgrade to the WRX front rotors and the legacy turbo rear rotors. And add SS lines and better pads. Or you could go with 4 pots but then you have to upgrade to 16x7 rims or 17s. I have an 05 RS and am going to go with a first choice personally.

Do you have a price range? What are you going to beusing these brakes for?(auto-X, daily driving, aggressive driving, weekend rallys, etc.)

These are some good places to start. Personally I'm on the brink of installing goodridge SS lines, wrx brackets, to fit the frozen rotors, Hawk HPS pads, H6 rear brackets & rotors and ATE super blue fluid.

I used to have an 02 RS. I had WRX front brakes, H6 rear brakes, Goodridge lines and ATE SuperBlue fluid. I ran stock pads because I can get them here at the dealership where I work for cheap, and they worked for the driving I was doing (some rallycross, mostly highway miles and some backroad driving). It was a great setup. I didn't have any problems with it and the feel and pedal modulation were awesome. Most of that is attributable to the SS lines. If you are going that route and think you need even more stopping power/fade resistance check out Boxer4Racing.com. They've got Carbotech slotted rotors (including the 11.3 in rears for the H6 upgrade) for not much more than a stock rotor. You'd just have to get calipers, or you can get upgraded calipers from him as well. A word of advice that's already been mentioned. If you do go to a different caliper you'll most likely need to find 16x7 wheels. The most common upgrade is to find the 6 spoke wheels off of a 00-01 2.5RS or the 5 spoke 98-99 2.5RS wheels. PM me if you need any more help.
