Default BG exhaust

I'm going to be doing a custom exhaust within the next week or two and had a couple questions. First, for anyone that has one, did the muffler you use have an offset inlet/center outlet or center inlet/center outlet? Also if anyone has a 3.5" or 4" tip have pics please post them, since I haven't decided which I would prefer. I know the stock one is 3", and I'd just like to go a little bigger to fill the bumper cutout a little bit. Thanks.

Thanks, I would really appreciate a pic. So did you have a custom exhaust? I need to know the inlet/outlet position before I order a muffler.

It's a Fujitsubo Legalis R exhaust, actually for a BF(the second pic). But it fits the same on the BG. Sticks out a tad more, but I think it looks better like that anyways.

I have a custom setup with Borla headers, and a custom 2.25" catback with an Apexi N1 NA 90mm muffler and a resonator.

The 90mm tip looks great and fits the cutout perfectly. Without the silencer it has a very nice deep growl to it but I found it a little intrusive for my taste. With the silencer in the sound is still very deep and I think it sounds great.

Unfortunately I don't have any pics handy that really show the tip.

Thanks for the pics and the recommendations, I ended up ordering a 4" tip and a dynomax muffler (had one on another vehicle and really liked the tone) today from Summit, should be here friday and hopefully have it welded up saturday.

In case anyone was curious here's some pics

It's a 4" rolled tip with dynomax super turbo muffler, I had the tip brought out a little like speedwagon suggested, looks good. I didn't put in a resonator, it's not loud and sounds really good.

I'll get better pics tomorrow when the car's on a lift, but here's my A'pexi N1 can. It's a fully custom setup from the headers back, so it doesn't kick up or out quite as much as an N1 normally does; I like it

ooberdoob, it's a 2.25" offset inlet/center outlet. The tip I got from summitracing.com it's summits own tip part# sum-690023. Dynomax actually had some kind of promotional offer, I paid 39 dollars for the muffler and it came with a 25 dollar rebate.

yeah just 2.25" offset in/center out part# wlk-17731. I have video capability on my camera, so I could get sound, I'm not to sure how I'd load it. I use andale.com for my pictures, so maybe I'll see if I can load it on to that. The exhaust was very cheap, with tip, muffler, new pipe and labor it cost me about $150.

http://videos.streetfire.net should do the trick for hosting.

i had a flowmaster put on my truck for $100, 50 for the FM40 off ebay and 50 to weld it up and have the new 2.25" pipe bent and ran.
