Default Where to buy stromung stuff?

Hello guys! I felt this was technically the right forum. I'd assume us N/Aer's know more about Stromung than the rest. I'm not contemplating a purchase of the high flow cat, straight pipe, and xa exhaust. However, where is stromung offered on the web? Only place I know of is boxer4racing, and although I love the service there, I'm poor and wanna find the best price. If you guys know of any other places, I'd love to know. Thanks for the look!

^^^ what he said. If you want stromung at an affordable proce you're going to have to look for used. If you want new though Iwould have to say that boxer4racing has the best prices that I've seen anywhere, and he's a nice guy that does good business. What more could you ask for?

If I were you I would go with new exhaust system. get them at boxer4racing. Thay are close to you so you should get them pretty fast. Its either that or wait and be on the classifieds 24/7 until somethings jumps up. Also you never know how abused it was.

Besides when you buy new, stromung is nice enough to add new gaskets, expect the donut one

Good luck,

Is http://www.stromung.com/ the stromung main site? Also would it be better to order off them, rather than order off boxer4racing? stromung dual is only 355$ compared to boxer4.

I just threw the dual tip axleback on my 04 TS last week. It isn't that loud, and my cobb cai is usually louder than it most of the time. The only time it really takes over is when I lift off the gas at speed, and in the lower RPMs. Love the rumble though, and on downshifts it has a nice rally "burp". One other thing i have to say about it is that it is noisy (only comparing it to stock) at about 70+mph and i think the fact that i have a wagon makes it even louder. That said, I love it. The only other advice I have is get the kartboy hangers. The factory ones are way too flexible.

if you do plan on buying that stuff, id stay aware from the XA, then the exhaust is a 100% unresonatred and its just brutalally loud and raspy in a bad way

i have that setup but with a RT high flow and the normal single tip and i think its to loud

Default Stromung stainless

Buy the stainless muffler and not the steel. The steel mufflers will rust out in about 2-4 years. Well worth the extra dollars to get the stainless version.

Easy fix if you really want this ebay muffler - cut the flange and rotate it. You can cut either the flange on the muffler, or the flange on the midpipe - same difference.

LaterZ!
