Default sti v8 turbo/ic/fp/inj's ok for EJ20?

a friend of mine recently upgraded his sti turbo, injectors, fuel pump, and IC and has all his stock stuff lying around. i want to know if i can swap at least the pump, turbo and IC into my 03 wrx. i dont think the injectors will work due to them being side feed or whatnot. i may be wrong though. i've tried searching but couldnt find anything specific.

any help you could give me would be appreciated.

Ryan the turbo will work. I've seen different things about the IC working/not working (something with fitment to the IC bracket), and the fuel pump is barely an upgrade over stock. The injectors won't work unless you get his fuel rails too.

Thanks Seth.

is an upgrade like that worth it? i figure the turbo couldnt be much bigger than a common vf 30/34 and i'd still have to do something about management, get some injectors and install everything. unless i can do it rediculously cheap, i think i might pass. my car is pretty much fast enough for me already. also, i've got 50k on it right now and i want to keep it another 2 years at least until i graduate without blowing anything up. i'm concerned enough already running an MBC set at a pound and a half over stock.

perhaps i just wait till i graduate making 8 billion a year and buy a C6 Z06.

I wouldn't waste my money (unless like you said you can get it ridiculously cheap). I'd spend a little extra and get em, big turbo, bigger injectors (those injectors aren't going to handle much past the v8 turbo anyway) bigger fp and better intercooler (although I think it would fit).

I'd pass if you are happy with the car right now. If you don't have EM right now this would cost quite a bit even if the turbo and IC are free.

The JDM STi IC bolts right up. The USDM STi IC needs the brackets modified.

the jdm v8 sti iirc uses a twin scroll vf37. so you would need his uppipe, header, oil pan and a jdm downpipe or a flange. putin a bigger turbo on without em is not a good idea either

All the parts that rstalbot listed are from a USDM STi.
