Will the instrument cluster from 2dr. 2.5RS fit a '98 OBS?

My speedometer doesn't work so well so I am looking to attempt to fix it, but if that doesn't work, I just want to replace it. I found an instrument cluster for a 2.5RS and was wondering if that would work in my car (plus I like the look of the 2.5RS cluster better)

Also, would I be able to swap out the odometers? (I can figure that out...)

well... the dealership wasn't any help, though it was kind of fun to 'hear' the look on their face when I asked the question :-D

If it's from the same year, I would expect it to work; you could ask at a Subaru dealer if the cluster from the '98 RS & OBS have different part numbers or not.
The odometer thing is a can of worms. Depending on your state laws, you will likely have to at least attach a sticker to your car indicating the mileage at which the old cluster/odometer was removed and the mileage on the new one when installed. Even with that, it will likely knock some value off your car when (if?) you ever go to sell it.
Have you tried contacting a speedometer calibration/repair shop?

I know that they are different, I just don't know how different they are... (the face on mine is black, while the RS is white, that's the extent of my knowledge in the matter)
so that's one difference... I mainly am interested in whether or not the speedo will match up, everything else can be... fixed
