check engine light

i just finished the intake silencer removal and when i went to drive it i noticed my check engine light was on. the mass airflow is connected. any ideas would be nice. oh yeah its an 05 wrx. this is also my first post so hello to everyone.

if you are sure you hooked everything back up correctly then, im gonna have to say go to autozone or one of those places and have them check the code.

did you get the MAFC dirty when you were replacing the intake?, or damage it in away way shape or form, like bending it slightly. Cause the smallest damage to it can throw a CEL code.

the acual sensor is in the airbox correct. there is no way i bent it or got it dirty

soory i ment the sensor is in the hose after the airbox

engine light is gone i just unplugged it and plugged it back in thanks for the help i guess i could of just ckecked it at work.

install it backwards the first time did you?
