Default Legacy 96, how to remove VSS ?

Hi,

After searching about removing the VSS (legacy EJ20 4EAT FWD) i havent find the answer... I need to know how to remove this sensor.

The sensor is located in the passenger side near the differential dipstick and it has 2 wires coming from it.

Thanks in advance for any kind of help...

Izik

The speed sensor? You have to get under the car and use a crescent wrench to back it out 1/6th of a turn at a time. Takes a lot of patience, cursing and trying.

Then again, maybe you don't have to get underneath.. I seem to remember finding the best angle by getting my arm up around the axle-shaft and working at it from there.
