If I were you I would get sway bars more than anything. You have a 13mm stock sway bar and that needs to be upgraded. Its should be one of your first mods.

For strut bars I just have the cheap ebay specials front and rear. The rear one flexes a little, but the front is still as hell. You really only need a rear one. If you want a good one, I know cusco sells two styles, the straight one and a v-brace. I don't know if tanabe has one, tein is suppose to have one soon, whiteline has one I think. It's all out there, just find one you like.

What does the sway bars do for the ride of the car..Improved handling is great but what does it do to the daily driving?

This really belongs in the suspension forum, but that is okay it is specific to an RS I guess.

chanyeehon pmed yeah

Shoebaru, it improves the handling by making the back is less resistant to roll in a corner and makes the back end snap around out of a corner. Doesn't hurt daily driving, it helps it

Yup, next purchase for me will be the perrin rear swaybar. A lotta people debate the usefullness of strut braces. I'm pretty leary of them. I'd definitely put the money into swaybars first. That is an undisputed suspension upgrade that will easily be noticed when driving.

dude, we just told you it's better not to get strut bars before you have sway bars or other suspension stuff.

besides, this is the naturally aspirated forum, not the suspension forum.

you dont need endlinks right away but they are a nice upgrade for future

mounts, im just saying what ive heard, ive talked to alot of vendors and i hear about with hard driving the mounts can break so just keep an eye out

you do have an 05 which i belive the mounts are stronger than the old ones but who knows..just dont put it on an aggresive setting

Don't mean to highjack, but while we're on the subject....Will an 18mm sway bar suffice, I've heard 20mm or above may cause too much oversteer.

thanks

yeah, you should have remedied that before you got huge wheels. they probably only magnified the anaemic qualities of the 13mm.

GET A RSB, YOU WILL LOVE IT!

Like everyone else is saying SKIP THE STRUT BAR and go for the REAR SWAY BAR!!!

I did the front and rear strut bar at the same time and didn't notice any big change. Then added the Cusco 22-24mm RSB and love it!!!

I bought mine thru Rallitek for $145.

Good luck!
