Yes these bulbs are made and japan, and they are covered by PIAA's warranty. I will have to call them on Tuesday to get the details, but I believe the bulbs are covered by a 1 year warranty.

I just spoke with PIAA and they confirmed that all the bulbs come with a 1-year warranty that covers just about everything but hitting them with a hammer.

I have a 2004 WRX, which bulb fits my car? H1? or????

Are these significantly brighter than stock?

Thank you.

The 04-05's use an H1 for low beams, 9005 for high beams and the fogs are H3's.

The 02-03's use a 9007 for both hign and low beams and H3's for the fogs. The 9007's are a dual filament so a single bulbs act as both your high and low beams.

These bulbs a quite significantly brighter than stock. I dont have any pictures, but im sure if you do a search you can find before and after pics somewhere in the forums.

Yeah the 9007's are the correct bulbs for the 02's. I have only installed the bulbs on a 04, it was a little tricky to get access to the bulbs but itís pretty straight forward. Here is a page from the service manual with some simple instructions.
