well that car ran 14s at 6000ft so im not sure the equivalent to near sea level. but at 5psi my car is mid 14s to very high 13s depending on gas quality and if im lucky. ive never got numbers so thats my butt-drag ETs if i could pull 14psi on my automatic that thing would be hitting 12s.

oh yeha and no probs at 5psi. if i can get better fuel delivery i will boost it higher but until then i dont think i want to risk the damage to the motor.

I have seen the 350 Horses /auto tranny post a million times.

I guess Kev Thomas is a good example he was putting down some big power for a long time before his broke. He had Turbo stage 2 plus nos.

Does anyone have 1/4 mile times for any auto turbos?
Mjos,andrew,etc...anyone?

i have, i guess, a somewhat large IC. maybe its normal size i dont know. no tranny cooler. the max temps i saw the tranny get to was on a hard run up mt hamilton and it reached 210F. the only trouble i had was a burning oil problem. once i fixed that (i put in an oil breather tank) then the car became faster due to the better air quality. only problem i have now is that i didnt install the breather tank high enough so oil leaks out sometimes and gets on the underbody. sometimes it gets on the headers and bakes.

found a pic....

i think kevin had a stage 1 turbo kit and nos, not stage 2. either way auto trannys hold up much better than manual.
