Unhappy Umm Something is Wrong

Have nowhere else to turn. I have a Legacy, 2.2 with used engine, starts runs ok, not great. Will not Idle, when Rpms drop near 1500, feels like it is ging to stall, anything below that and it sounds like it is running on 2 cylinders, replaced MAFS, New Plugs, Timing Belt Lines up proper, dont feel like it has any power either though out the Rmp range, Any one have this kinda problem or simmler. Please can Somebody Help Me

check the PCV valve. Then check your coil pack. Then make sure there is fuek pressure at idle.

Yeah legacy central is a good source for information, just try to research what you are asking about a little or they might lock your thread. Thats what they did to me.

temp sensor?? Mine went once and it revved reeeeeeaaal low like you are saying and I had no power. mechanic replaced the sensor (for free!) and ran like a champ (i have a 99 2.5rs though)

Sounds exactly like a problem I had with a 77 VW Scirocco. Check the compression on all four cyls. Also, take a dollar bill or a pice of paper, and with the engine running at idle, place it loosely over your exhaust while holding it firmly (so it doesn't get sucked in) and see if it gets occasionally sucked up against the tailpipe. This would indicate an exhaust valve not seating.
