Default AccessPort Stage 1 to Stage 2 question...

OK, so I've got my down-pipe and I'm ready to go Stage 2 tomorrow, can you guys tell me if I've got this right? Current map is Stage 1 93 octane with no Real-Time map.

1. Connect white connector
2. Connect green connectors
3. Turn the key to the "ON" position
4. Go to "Change Base Map" & select Stage 2 93 oct
5. After reflash, scroll to "Show Current Map" to check it
6. Load Real-Time Stage 2 93 oct map?
7. Reset ECU?
8. Clear CEL codes?
9. Done?

Any help would be much appreciated .

You don't have to load the real time map, but you can if
you want too - I did not.

No reset of ECU is needed.

There should be no CELs

You can check current map any time with out putting
on the connectors. I also think you can change real time
maps with out putting on the connectors.

You do not have to reset your ECU. If you flash to stg2 93 base that will automatically be your realtime map. Make sure to disconnect all of the connectors! Have fun....

Cels will not need to be cleared because stage 2 automaticlly takes care of any of the typial cels you would see for the mods required

thanks. I had to put off going Stage 2 because the Helix DP does not mate directly to the stock resonator section, I now understand that I have to purchase a new resonator section that starts at 3" and tapers to 2.5" for the AB.

Just to be clear, you can only check the current Basemap not the current Realtime map using the AP. If you flashed a stage 1 93 oct map as base and then flashed the anti-theft realtime map the checked the maps, it will say Stage 1 93 oct. If you're not sure about which realtime map you're running, it's best to reflash with what you want.
