Default wet dirvers side floor??

i have a 95 legacy sedan Lsi and for some reason the center of the floor is all wet on the drivers side. I thought that maybe the seals were loose on the windows but i can't see any water or wetness around the door side of the carpet. It seems to be wet dead center on the floor pan... Sun roof is water tight and i dont see any rust under the body.. Can somebody help me figure this out??? Wife wants a new car already and i'd rather fix the problem.... Thanks, Tim

I had a similar problem with my 93 s10 pickup. You might want to check the seals on the windshield. However, the source for me was the main body seal between the firewall and the cab.(It might have been rust/rot damage, but I did not feel like ripping off the hood, fenders, cowl, etc... to check it.) I never got an estimate to get it fixed.(I just sold it to my Dad instead )

Could be at the firewall, could be the seals around the door frame.

I know when I powerwash my car water gets in near the bottom of the door frame due to a bad seal. Also I have leaking problems from the sunroof...but its not too bad. I'd say take the car to your local do it yourself car wash and go at it for a few minutes and then check to see if theres any water anyplace.

I had the same problem, my doctor gave me a free sample of "Depends". They looked a little wierd at first but then I got the idea to wear my pants over them.

Sorry 'bout this, I'm tired and need some sleep.....

For the original post, do you have a sunroof? They are known to plug up the drain that is in the front corners of the sunroof opening.
When these plug up, the water runs down the A-piller and onto the floor.

I had this happen in my Ford Escorts and it was related to an AC hose/drain that was clogged. The clog (a bunch of pine needles and other miscellaneous crapped sucked in from the out side) caused moisture to condensate onto my passenger's side rugs. Happened in two Escorts I've owned.

None of the above....... There is a drain hole in the rocker panel. If iuf get clogged with crap then it needs to be flushed out. find the little rubber plug on the inside top of the rocker paneland take it out. shoot a very high pressure stream of water into that hole and you will see all sorts of junk come out. Thats the fix.
