Default Should I swap my 2.0L sohc engine?..or do it up?..

hey guys....
I have a 2002 Legacy BE with a NA 2.0L sohc engine...just wanted to know wether the performance parts available for the 2.0dohc engine is compatible with the 2.0sohc ,cause this engine is running on 120hp ...are there any performance parts for the sohc?!

can you guys recommend any parts on increasing the power(sohc)to 200hp?...or do I have to do a engine swap... if so,which engine?!...

also..is it possible to just change the cams from sohc to dohc?...

Thnx alot
Arnold

well I live in Dubai,UAE...
and over here, they dont market Subarus very well,Subaru Dealership in Dubai are prolly the WORST in the world....amazing vehicles though
sadly I couldnt even get a manual gearbox cause they dont import subaru manuals into the middle east :S
they only powerful Subaru they have is the Impreza RS....well they "can" import STI WRX's but they come in RHD..

but I have no probs importing performance parts from Japan,US or where ever (not through the dealership)....what I mainly want to know is ...how much would it be to convert my car into a B4,performance wise? (in dollars)
or is it possible to just turbocharge the base sohc engine..?

Well, we dont have 2.0 N/A motors in America. Only 2.5 N/A after the 2001 model year.

However, the exhaust systems should be compatible, along with crank pulleys, flywheel/clutches, etc. but I have no idea what kind of intake system your motor has.

To get up to 200hp, you probably need to go turbo.

If you change to DOHC, the heads are totally different. And because of intake manifold designs you usually end up having to change out the intake manifold and everything else other than the shortblock...
