Unhappy Please Help

I have a 91 Legacy, with a newly installed used Engine. The car starts, will run but will not Idle, also when the rpm's drop down below 1500, it is really ruff running. I already have replaced plugs, MAFS, and checked the Timing, and all is well. And it dont feel as though all the power is there anymore. If anyone has had problem like this or knows what it might be, please respond
Thank You

My friend's '96 Legacy did that when we accidentally forgot to reattach a large (3/4" I think) vacuum hose. Maybe you missed one too?

Was it a direct replacement? Otherwise the ecu might not be reading things correctly.
