Default Hydra Start Up ?'s

I put a Hydra EMS in my car. This is going to sound dumb - but my car is hard to start. I have to give it some gas to get 'er goin and have to hold it at about 1500 rpm's till it warms up for about 25 seconds until it will idle on its own. I'm thinking it needs some more fuel below 1500 rpms, but would like to make sure before I really started messing with it. This is the first tuning experience I'll ever be doin on my own, so I'm trying to be cautious.

The car also seems to "search" for an idle from time to time. When cruising at a steady 3000 rpms, and clutching in to come to a stop the revs will drop below 500 then come up to and hold at 1500 rpms. I would like to think this is the settings in the PID controls for idle but once again would like to check with somebody that might have some experience with this.

Kyle

for the hunting (searching) problem, i would recommend you to check the "max vaccum" value under the ISC tab in settings. See where you're idling vaccum is at and add 80 to that value. Then that number is to be the number in the cell. Try to see if that solves the problem. If not ,you maybe running to rich once the rpm drops below around 1000 rpm down to 500 rpm.

For the startup, recommend you try posting that on www.hydraems.com
