It looks like a freaking Kit Car! I'd have to see it up close and personal before I could make a decision. MYKR- Are you still interested in my 99 RIMS for your 00's?? Let me know!!

Kit car? That is a true EVO, the only thing different about it is the VIN plate that was switched out from a Mirage, I almost guarantee it.

My friend at the Mitsubishi dealership told me they are getting the EVO VI in 2002. he keeps trying to get me to buy one when it comes in. mmmmmmm EVO.... I just don't know if i could get rid of my scooby. but the horsepower increase would be oh so nice.

Hey guys, sorry to spoil you fun, but unless your thinking about rally only usage of this car, it cant be registered for everyday driving. Its a right-hand drive., Seen it personally.

i'd tend to agree with rallykid. i doubt there is a VIN swap on it. you can import race cars.

There was a left hand drive EVO at the Chicago hot import nights. I think was a really old one though from the late 80s.

Thumbs up

I've ridden in an Evo VI....ummm mirage turbo kit car with 4 door and 5 way adjustable rear wing and 17" OZ superturismo's....

they are fast.

That's a real one for sale.

the old boss used to have one....we used to bomb up and down the street where I used to live. I can only tell you it's in indiana.

Technically you can own one, and have it licensed for what it is...just can't drive it but 2500 miles a year.

sjd.

I've been in THAT Evo. It's way nice, and yes, it is an Evo. I do not know if Mark rolled it or not, but I don't think he did. Pete had an Evo at TAD a few months ago that was rolled though, it was white and blue.

the problem with tuning a mirage to an EVO is that there is no AWD that's the great thing about the impreza as compared to the regular lancer (mirage) focus, pug, or any other WRC base model.

oh, and dodge did sell the lancer here during the mid to late 80s. i think there was even a turbo around 88 or so, but i could be mistaken.

I remember that white & blue one that was rolled. That was just before Donnie's old car was in the shop getting the trans. worked on cause we were up at TAD getting his ACT clutch. Cool.

Yeah, the EVO that was recently rolled was the light (almost powder) blue one, it's owned by one of the chief techs, Mike.

He is in the process of rebuilding her...

i was there with greg and the other guy (sorry...can't remember his name...has the cusco car ) and we saw the corner of a rolled yellow one in the back behind the building in the rear of it...off limits area through the window and one was yellow...it went off and embankment, and the blue one was there as well...2 rolls withing a week or so of each other call 'em up and be sure, but i could swear b/c his was for sale when it rolled

if it is, well...if not...i am mistaken and it was someone elses', but we saw the light blue one, and the yellow one in the back of the building, the light blue one wasn't that bad compared to the other if that means anything.

edit: and oh yeah...this was like a month ago or less that it rolled over.
