Default JDM STi fog light kit

I know KingOfImports.com sells a sweet combo, which includes the light weight bumper and absorber, surround and fogs and all equipment needed.

yet if i ordered from Japanparts.com, is this all i would need?
113-372-711 FRONT BUMPER BACK BEAM GDA/ GDB/ GGA US $94.09
113-371-705 FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER GDA/ GDB/ GGA US $52.87
069-006-009 FOG SURROUND GARNISH PAIR STi, STi spec C GDB US $63.62
153-006-007 LARGE FOG LAMP KIT / CLEAR 130mm, 12V, 55W for STi, STi spec C GDB US $230.29

which would equal 440.86$ before shipping and tax. And does it come with switch, bolts, brackets, and light relay

KOI
1. JDM fog light kit (lights, switch, bolts, brackets, and light relay)
2. JDM fog trim/surround (prepainted by Subaru in your factory color)
3. JDM lightweight bumper beam (15+lbs lighter than stock!!!)****
4. JDM energy absorber for the lightweight bumper beam.

Color MO----CC----Paypal
Clear: $569---$589---$589
Blue: $579---$599---$599
Multi: $599---$616---$619 ( all shipped)

i found that from a while ago.( do i dont know if these are current going prices!)
the exchange rate worries me, im hoping for another group buy.

who has these lights? who has ordered form japan parts? If so does it come with all you need.

any info would be great!

FYI, we are not taking orders on this again until the end of July because we are working on some new projects.

That should be everything you need.

I know the last group buy you had was very successful, and by all means id love to order from you guys, your great vendors. The one thing that worries me is that i tried ordering from over seas before and it like 2 months to get here, and then it wasnt even the right order. So i feel that ill wait for your GB and see hwo the price works out.

I ordered the garnishes from JapanParts last week, and they shipped today. I'm just going to have my bumper beam cut. It's a lot cheaper than the JDM beam (and probably still safer). Regardless, I need the mounting plates, factory switch and relay from somebody. I haven't found them without buying the lights yet. I figured the PIAA 540 or Hella FF200 would fit the hole. If anybody knows where to get the switch, relay and brackets, please let me know.

Based on their crappy web design, I'd say it's more likely than not.

I think this is what you're looking for... http://www.rallyinnovations.com/products.htm.

From their page it looks like they go for around $500 (unpainted). I'm not sure whether or not that includes shipping. I don't mind the looks, but there's no way I'd pay that much for 'em.

I'd love to get in on an order for the JDM kit (minus the bumper beam). KOI still looks like they're not taking orders for these. Are there any other vendors (haven't looked at japanparts yet) that sell the hardware in case KOI don't get these back in stock?

Gruppe-s.com. I just ordered mine from there on Thursday. $399 shipped for the clear fogs kit with painted surrounds. I'm just going to hack up my bumper beam.

I am actually in the middle of hacking it up right now!
I am just going by this thread... I just finished the driver's side.

It's pretty easy:
1. Remove fog covers
2. Mark off all visible parts of the bumper beam
3. Remove bumper
4. Start cutting... Torch, Dremel, Angle grinder, Jigsaw, whatever floats your boat.
5. Replace bumper

I am in the middle of step 4.

$500!!! holy crap.
What about these lights? I just don't dig the little tiny fogs. Does this look custom mounted?

Those foglights are stock on the '02-'03 WRX... I don't think they will fit properly into an '04-'05. If you want big lights and don't want to pay for the Rally Innovations setup, you're going to have to go JDM.

I'm having my bumper beam cut tomorrow (finally). It's going to cost $40 at a local body shop...better than a DIY for me, and much cheaper than the new bumper beam and buffer. The surrounds got here from Japanparts.com. They look great. Grupee-s also sells the whole kit at a good price.

Being unemployed, I have nothing better to do with my time (and better things to do with my money), so I was all about the DIY... Good experience, learned a bit, and I know it was done right! I just wish my knuckles were in better shape afterwards
