Default Mix & match STi V8 springs and SPT pink springs

Ok I've done alot of search and I could use some help with this.

I have STi V8 springs right now and they are pretty stiff but I want to lower the front a bit and don't even want to bother with the rear.

Will the SPT pinks lower my WRX if I only got the fronts installed? I believe it's suppose to lower about 1" to 1.2" is this true? b/c I'm getting mixed info since the SPT pinks will lower the WRX 1" front/rear but will that rule apply even though I have STi V8 shocks/springs?

I don't want Eibach's b/c the spring rates are too close to stock rates

I believe the spring rates are pretty comparable between the SPT pinks and V8 springs but I could really use some real info. Thanks alot.
