Default any sugestions about my sunroof?

hello, my sunroof on my 98gt sedan seems to be stuck on the back righthand side. it wont pop up or go back. at the fully closed position it seems to apear lower on that side. this is when viewed from outside. what should i do?

Pop the headliner and see what you can see. (I'm sure it's a fun job with all the trim and what-not)

I think you’re lucky that the sunroof has lasted this long. Mine lasted about 2 years after buying the vehicle brand-new off the show room floor. Likely the belt has finally given up the ghost. The belt is integrated into the track and to replace it you’ll need to buy a new track and frame assembly which runs about $500 bucks.

You can use the allen-key and a little pressure to move the glass in and out of position. Mines now a permanently closed sunroof too

Sunroof / moonroof problems in the 2nd gen cars have been covered fairly extensively.
