Default STI wheel/tire weights

What's the weight of the stock
wheel for the 2004 and 2005 STI?

What's the weight of the tire too?

Thanks

Wheel weighs 16.5 lbs. Not sure about the tire though.

Is that for the 1/2 wider 2005 wheel?

If that's for the 2005 STI wheel, that's
pretty impressive. Actually, for a stocker
that would be great on the 2004 too.

16.5lbs is the 2004 STi wheel. They're forged which is why they're so light.

Tire is 27 lbs. Very heavy, stiff sidewall tire.

There is actually some debate as to the weight of the '04 wheels, I've seen everything from just over 15 lbs, to just under 17. The '05 wheel weight is yet to be determined, and will probably be just a bit heavier than the '04 because of the increased size. Tire weight is just as dbrier said, a very heavy 27 lbs because of the extremely stiff sidewall.

I weighed my sti wheel/tire combo when I used to run them and it weighed it around 43-44 on a good digital postal scale so I would say that the 16.5 is pretty accurate.
