Me, my wife, my sister, and a friend of mine all go out dancing. We meet another couple there.
All's well and good until this drunken underage couple starts dancing near us. They're groping each other and whatnot - really not there for the music, but whatever. Then they both light up - again, no big deal. Except that in their drunken stupor and makeout session, they start waving their cigs around and actually put on in some chicks hair. Not cool. So I tell the guy to watch the cig, as he's hitting people with it. He says okay. It happens again, this time with his girl. I take her hand, move it away, and tell her to watch it. Back to dancing for less than a minute, when my sister has to duck out of the way of this bitches cig. That's it. I grab the guy by the shoulders, and start shoving him off the dance floor. Now, I'm 6'3" 225 and relatively intimidating. This poor kid is 5'7" and 125 wet (little emo ****er). So this isn't me trying to look cool, but I'm pissed. You make my sister uncomfortable, you're gonna pay. So the guy turns around, realizes who is moving him, and I start yelling at him, and he starts saying "okay, but you don't have to be an ******* about it" kind of stuff. Well, apparently I looked supremely pissed, because in an instant, my friends are there surrounding this poor kid. One of them is 6'4" ~200 and the other is 6' and 190 and built. So this stupid little **** is standing in the middle of the three of us, and my friends are asking me why I look like I was about to eat him alive. Things cool down, and we all get back to dancing, but those stupid ****s didn't dare light up on the dancefloor again. CN: little emo smoker at a club almost burns my sister after two warnings, I pull him off the floor, and my friends all surround him and almost make him cry. Hahahaha...
I would have blacked both of your ****ing eyes, and more than likely would have had to be forcibly pulled away from tenderizing your face, and ears. I have an unintended tendency to aim for ears when on the ground. You put your hand on my shoulder in a bar and turn me around and I would have hit you before we made eye contact, more than likely in your left temple, slightly above the meridian of your eye, where my right hook naturally lands on someone within 4 inches of my height if I have a good peripheral. You got LUCKY tonight because he was an EMO prick. Despite your expectedly 'large and/or cut' friends', you try that **** with the wrong person, no matter their appearance, and you WILL eventually get shamed. You should have notified the bouncer after you spoke to him initially. If the bouncer did not handle the situation after it continued, you should have hit him with a goddamn bottle and rolled out before the cavalry took note. Don't play badass in a bar, when you don't know how far you are from checkmate. I completely appreciate and understand your protectiveness of your sister, but don't try to be the badass, cause there's a 99% chance, you aren't. MHO from years of experience in bars. |

yeah i don't confront. i also don't say **** on here, i have intellectual arguments with people, or call them stupid if they are incapable of said arguments, but i really don't talk **** like "i'm gonna fight you, steve" because i'm not the fighting type.
but yeah. being in a fight will teach you things about yourself. it's also not a bad thing to be in them so you know how to handle yourself... if you can spare the brain cells. i got knocked around in some kids basement a few years ago (fight club type thing) but i actually was doing pretty good against the guy, and he had at least 20 lbs on me, and only about an inch taller. fight lasted 60 seconds, padded, only punching allowed. pretty much boxing. |

1) Doubtful he was a emo kid, cause
a) EMO kids dont dance unless its to emo music and even then it is more of a head bob b) EMO kids dont grope, they whine about how they cant get girls 2) Youre an ass, there notthing more to it. There was no reason for your actions. You acted like a caveman, animal......congrats you have testosterone. 3) The correct way to handle the situation would have been to tell the guy to leave the dance floor, if you as big as you say you are, then Im sure he would have obliged. Its people like you who end up getting killed, being the "Tough Guy" |

if he was a true "emo" kid, your ass wouldve got handled
and its not how big you are, its how much balls and experience you have. go download shaq vs barkeley, and you'll see what i mean. shaq is 7'1, 360 lbs, barkeleys like 6'4 270, and barkeley HANDLED shaq. |

Instead of going all macho, the best thing would've been to leave the dance flooor, or tell the staff <-----------doesn't like beng out and seeing somebody start crap, whether they're right or not, it ruins the night for everybody else |

I was in a club a while back and some dude was masturbating on the dance floor. He hosed some random chick's back and guess what, her boyfriend gave the dude a beating. Bouncers came to break it up and when they found out, they threw teh Pee Wee wannabee out but not without socking him a few times and slamming him against the wall. |

I wouldn't call that being a tough guy.
I sometimes enjoy wearing the toughguy hat, it's served me well from time to time. Doing it right means that you don't have to get physical. It's about the way you address a person, polite but very direct, eye contact, tone of voice, etc. A drunk shrimp is nothing to start shoving people around about. All bets are off once contact has been made, and you initiated it. I know dozens of guys that would have ripped you apart. You better lose the attitude that size means a whole lot in a drunk club, because you have no idea who you're dealing with, it's a grab bag of various people, some of which are there for the purpose of 'practice', or have a chip on their shoulder. I wouldn't call this a display of test, just bad judgement. I think I would have just moved. -SCGT hardly ever goes out to bars/clubs anymore. |

so many times these situations backfire. you don't know if the "emo" kid has 8 friends dancing around him, i don't care how big you are 8-1 isn't going to happen. You picked a fight over something stupid, congrats I guess, but you're one of the reasons why going to clubs and bars sucks. you always have to look out for guys who think they are hot ****. You're probably the type of guy where if I accidently nudge you in a busy bar you start shoving, or if I put my arm around you to move by you flip out. Bouncers are there for a reason, they get paid to deal with idiots, you don't.

I'm just saying when I used to go to crowded dance clubs I expected a certain degree of rudeness, drunkeness, and stupidity. I've been burned by cigarettes before, usually got apologies, and then I moved away from the cigarette. It's not a disaster worthy of causing a physical disturbance. And quite frankly, little dude would've been perfectly within his rights to get pissed when Layman put his hands on his girl to move her hand away. There's no need for that either. I just think it was a problem that could've been solved simply, and is quite common in crowded dance clubs, and not worthy of bowing up on anybody about. |
