Default Anyone estimate what offset these are?

Looking to get a similar look to these as far as offset is concerned. Can anyone estimate what offset the below rims would be? They seem to sit perfectly as far as looks go, and similarly dont appear that they would scrape.

Considering those are VR wheels I would say probably 46, could be wrong thgouh. It's difficult to tell without knowing the size.

Assume they are 18 x 8, the CE28s come in 38 and 44, so 44 would prob be the goer?

Look alot like Prodrive P1/Rota Tarmac. Those come in Suby-friendly +48 offset, why not get those instead?

I agree. I want the black spoke/polished lip version. I have Tarmac2's right now and they really look quite different than the CE28n's.

Hi -

this table lists all available sizes and offsets for the CE28N.

I'm going to get LE28N, 8.5x17 +50, 114.3 bolt pattern, 255-40-17, gun metal with polished lip. You can run a lower offset if you don't want/need 255 width.

If you have an STi, the entries in the table with a square after them will clear the Brembos.

Cheers,

Jeff

They're 18" Volks so I'm 99% positive the offset is +44. I don't think the +50 clear the brembos.

the 18x8.5 +50 TE37 clears Brembos. not sure if that goes for the CE28s as well.

Yes, the CE28N in a +47 and +50 clears the Brembos as well (in a 17, so an 18 should be no problem). You can also do a +44 offset in 18x8.5, but with that I think you will be limited to stock tire width (225). At least that's all I've seen people run. The lower offsets push the wheel out toward the fender, whereas the higher offset pushes it toward the strut. If you want wide tires, you want to optimize the use of space between the two. It appears that in the 8.5x17 and 8.5x18 sizes this is achieved with a +50 offset. With that offset, you should be able to run widths between 225-255 (adjusting the sidewall series appropriately to maintain some semblance of stock tire diameter of 25.0")

I think you guys are forgetting that is a 2004 STi. The +50 offset CE28's won't clear the calipers on the 04. Refer to this thread for more info: Wheels that fir the STi

I'm betting they're a +44...
