Is it possible to take out the subaru lettering in the rear lights on the legacys? Mine is a '98. Not sure if it would look good or not, but it was just a thought. I cant tell if its possible or not. Has anyone attemted this?

I don't think it would be possible. The only change you can make is the JDM version which says Legacy instead.

Really? I've never heard that before. I actually almost bought one off of Ebay earlier this week. Is your statement based on personal experience, and if so, how did it not fit? Inquiring minds wanna know...

that isn't entirely true. It will bolt on to the trunk lid. However, the part that sticks down, the white reverse portion, isn't as wide on the JDM version as it is on the USDM version. It fits on fine, but just looks a bit off. Pat, I believe if you search a bit, someone posted a pic of what it looks like when a JDM rear section is installed on a USDM car.

Jared

PS: in my original post I overlooked the "Sedan" part.
