Default Show me your modded Tribeca pics! Do they exist?

I'm interested in seeing if anyone's doing much with Tribeca's these days in terms of suspension, engine, or aesthetic mods to these yet? A big JDM Tribeca scene? Pics of anything cool?

I haven't heard a thing about exhaust, suspension, or what-not for this platform. I know, google is my friend, but...

Even if they did, I doubt they would admit to it.

Haven't they only been out for like a month? I kinda doubt there's much of an aftermarket for them yet...

why would you 'mod' a Tribeca?

it's not that type of car.
the folks buying them are certainly not 'modding' them.

maybe adding accessories.... but mods?

no.

Well how about big wheels and slightly dropped suspension with tint and a fat system with some subs? :-)

Again, it is not that type of car. Tribeca is a family mover. Those who drive it probably don't like any of the stuff you listed.

But you see other family cars "pimped" out. A modded Tribeca may not be here yet, but I dont see one far from the future...

Seems that way...but there's a house a few streets down who started out with an SVX then went to a Legacy and now there's a Tribeca there! So either they're getting older or they have plans.

AFAIK they are not on the forums.

Guy up the street owns one in that sand type color. Had to american flags on each side of it. IMO, I would have rather bought a new STI

One of our customers has us finding him some 20's for his new Tribeca! ...and no I'm not kidding! I'll get pics up as soon as we find something he likes.

I'd make fun of the guy but he's also got a '04 STi, two BMW M3's and a a heavily modded '02 WRX with a 2.5 STi block with forged internals currently putting 358 to the wheels

I figure he can do any damn thing he wants to a Tribeca!

Bling knows no boundaries, today a WRX or an STI, tommorow, a Tribeca, then a Chevy Venture, and a Dodge Caravan. Aftermarket parts suppliers will find a way. It's all about the $$$. Would be very curious what performance if any would be yielded on a Tribeca. Time will tell.

Just look at the bodykit, vinyl, and spinning hubcap market! No performance at all and they (unfortunately) seem to sell pretty well so companies will do whatever they can do to put something out.

It's only a matter of time for the Tribeca. Does anything else in production use the same 3.0 engine?

I'm pretty amazed at the lack of creativity by most of the posters on this thread. Look at the AMG ML Benz's, the Cayenne Turbo, the Touareg W12, etc. For a company that builds a ton of performance variants of base cars, you'd think Subaru would be all over a factory tuned 'Beca.

it's got the H6 right? same motor as in the outback and the legacy 3.0 right?

if/when someone makes a supercharger kit for that motor........... tribecas will be able to use it too..

Bah, they're good for what they were designed to do. Haul people.

You'll be singing a different tune when it comes equipped with a turbo flat 6.

I agree with ConcreteJungle; lots of potential for a performance SUV

I should be getting a B9 in a few weeks. The last time I was at SOA I did a little test fit on the B9 with an exhaust system we are working on. It was very close and with a couple of changes it should fi. Don't know what it will sound like but will see. Also looking to do a brake upgrade with some big wheels and tires. As far as suspension goes I'm in the process of contacting some spring manufatures to see if they want to help with this project. There is also some plans on some more TV screens ect.
Any feedback will be welcomed as this may end up at SEMA. The color by the way is black pearl.

I don't want to steal this guy's pic, so here's a link... but it was one person's vision for a "Tribeca STi". Obviously this would never fly, but I think it's a great vision of Tribeca's potential if someone had the money to do a lot of custom mods - and in my opinion, it looks way better than the stock version.
