Subaru Stars coming soon, frederick meet and cookout, second weekend in august

i am planning a meet here in frederick, will be held at ballenger creek park. i will be trying for the second weekend in august, the 13th or so. there shouldnt be too much to get around to do this, ill just need to get my grill out there and get some one to help out with setting up, getting food, and cooking.

let me know if you want to attend or if you want to lend a hand to setting up.

peace
tim c.

to get there from 270n, youll take the 15/340 south or west (cant remember) exit, i think that its also labeled as the exit for s. jefferson street. you will then get onto rt 15/340 and take the exit for ballenger creek pike, it will be on the right in a seperated lane. from there, you take a right turn on ballenger creek pike and follow that till you pass the middle school on the left. the park will be on the right about 1/4 mile past the school. im not sure what parking area ill be setting up in yet, most likely it will be either the second lot with the play grounds and pavilions or the hiking trail lot at the end of the road.

call me if you need better directions, my number is 301-305-1807

for the address, use this in mapquest. 5438 Ballenger Creek Pike
its not the actual address to the park, but its close enough to find it from where ever you are starting from.

ok, the meet will start at 2pm, as i will be working till 12:30 and need a few minutes to prepare things, if anyone wants to meet up a bit early to help set up, please let me know, ill need all the help i can get.

i would also like to know if anyone will be able to bring food stuffs or beverages, no alcohol cause you need a permit for that.

here is who should be going, send me a pm if you are planning on attending. its getting hard to keep track of who is coming or not.

coming to the meet:
subyrally
Impreza25
SureGrip
Distinctive
280hp_REX
Siper2 & XineDC
K Rock Impreza
DDAY
Matt + wife

might be coming:

Sounds good -- except the first week in August thing. Don't hold out just for me/us, but we'll be in SC for my brother's college graduation.

Otherwise - I'm excited.

Thumbs up

I'll check with the admiral and see if we're doing anything that weekend, but I don't think so.

I'd be there, but I'm gonna be out of town earlier that week so I have to work when I get back. You could always come up to Gettysburg to look for ghosts.

im calling in subies from anywhere that they are willing to come.
i place no restrictions on my cookouts, well with the exception of no drinking and driving. i dont want ot be responsible for some one getting hurt or wrecking their car.

but if you really want a drink, dont drink in excess, and try to have a some one to drive you home.

everyone is welcome to my cookout.
