Default Wheel locks for 05 Sti BBS's

Hi All,

Sorry this may be a total noob questions but I need to get some wheel locks for my 05 sti BBS's. I did a couple of searches and found out that Mcgaurds, Zenki, and Muteki's all work well. Do I just need the wheel locks or do I also need to get new lugs to lock up the BBS's

Also, any feedback on which brand is best?

Thanks

12x1.25 is the size... they're all made to make you feel better (they'll only stop the casual theif). Someone who really wants your wheels will have the locks off in a matter of seconds. They're not hard to defeat.

I use McGard brand (but only when I have on the SSR Comps), though I don't feel any safer with them on.

I've debated this too, but I think my neighborhood is full of the "casual thieves"! I'm thinking about splurging on the Rays Lugs that come with their own "key tool". 105 for 20 piece set.

i wouldnt spring for locks...i mean, thats wut insurance is for right?? dont get me wrong, im not inviting anyone to steal my wheels, but it would be nice to get a fat check for $600+ per wheel +$200 per tire from my insurance company...then i could use that $$ to get any wheel i want...

what wheels do you have? where do you live? got a hydro jack and 19mm socket I can borrow?

Just kidding bud, I know what you are saying, but the hassle of getting my wheels stolen and some punk rockin them without paying for them would piss me off too much.

I think the best wheel locking setup would be reverse threaded studs and bolts....
