Default Wastegate

If I used a stock wrx turbo on my little 2.5na project motor, would I need an extra waste gate to keep the boost at 5 or 6 psi.

Or is there another way to reliably control the turbo to give me a low psi?

Thanks

Danny

No thought on the matter?

Or should I run with no extra wastegate and hope it won't over boost?

you can weld the td04 wastegate shut and use the external wastegate to control your boost...
