Default 2 or 4 tire replacement on 2000 2.5 RS

Its almost time to sell my dad's 00 RS and it needs new tires. can I get away with replacing just the front two? Is it THAT important to replace all 4? I have a set of wanlis from ebay, DO NOT RECCOMEND AS A DD TIRE! But I think Im going to get another set just so we can sell it with good tires.
thanks

U definityly need to, one thing about replaceing the tires is you nv want to do one w/o another, i would not handle to the best anymore, having all crapy tires is still better than having 2 tires bc at least the crapy tires are all matching. and not one has more tread then the other....oh and I just got all Azenis Falken RT-215.....love them when i get it in 30 mins from now!

Do the new owner a favor, and don't slap on a set of crap tires. Unless they're a total non-enthusiast, they'll just replace them anyway and they certainly won't want to pay extra for "brand new tires" on the car.

dont just replace 2 tires on an AWD car. handling will be crappy as well as the handling and the most important thing is that it will screw up your differential.

Yeah. You won't recommend those tires, but you'll buy them for the next owner.

Sell it to me w/ the old tires.

better idea is to lower the price on the car that way the buyer can buy the tires they like.

pretty much already did lower the price wayyy less than its worth, i did the math, thought about it and all The geometry of the new and old tires is within 5cm or less therefore I deemed it safe.

Yeah, it would screw with the differential pretty bad have tread from almost worn out tires on some wheels and brand new tread on others. there is a diameter difference so the axles turn at different speeds.
