you can make regular top feeds fit. You will need a hodgepog of different Orings, but they will work. a .5 in spacer is needed on the rail bolts as well.

I'm not sure what size injectors your looking for but RC Engineering makes injectors for our cars. I believe the ones I had were RC440's for my 2001 RS-T. Give them a call.

I use these Delphi 500cc injectors. Haven't had a problem with them. No leaks, nothing... http://www.racetronix.com/17113738FM.html

www.rceng.com

You'll need to solder new clips in. That takes like 20 minutes and it's easy as pie. You will also need spacers under your fuel rails since the injectors are bigger. They can send you both the clips and spacers for your MY if you ask.

I have the SL4-440cc injectors and love them. Customer service is also A+ at RC.

No. Technically they never even made injectors for our cars. They were selling injectors that someone decided fit the EJ25 okay, to RS owners. For one reason or another they kept telling RS owners that they should fit no problem blah blah blah even though people were calling in saying the injectors didn't fit inside the manifold very well, which is true. A few people sent RC their intake manifolds to have the injectors custom fitted while some just dealt with the funky seating, like me.

The issue more specifically was this. Here's a picture I threw together:

:

The RC injectors would sit ontop of the hole instead of inside the hole like the stock injector. The fuel rails were the only thing securing the injector in place. Once bolted down, the rails did hold the injector in place and were perfectly alligned. Some were okay with this (like me) and some weren't.

I guess RC finally decided it was time to actually test fit the injector. They themselves were not satisfied with the fitment of the injector and decided it was time to stop selling them to RS owners. I'm sure they still make them but it's up to you whether or not you want to buy them. RC won't claim any responsibility if you aren't satisfied with the fitment.

I've had mine in for over a year and 15,000 miles. I've had no problems. They rock my socks.

One more thing. The O ring that goes in between the fuel rails and the STOCK injector, the big one... I put that on the tip of the RC injectors in between the injector and the manifold. It fits perfectly around the area that actually makes contact with the manifold so it seals the hole. Works great.

So basically noone makes any direct replacements. Does RC not check their e-mail? or would it be better to just call? ive been trying to get ahold of them via e-mail, but never a response back.
Thanks ScoobaruRS for the diagram, thats exactly what i thought would happen with aftermarket injectors that werent made for my intake manifold. Would anyone know how much it would run for a machine shop to enlarge the injector ports? i'd do it myself, but no tools, and not much time.
One more thing...
If i was to get some injectors from RC... would they plug right up to my injector harness? or do i have to do some more modifications there?
Thanks

The problem is the Air Assist manifold that requires a long narrow nozzle from the look of things - none of the bigger injectors are like the stock one so they wouldn't go all the way down. For me, the downside is that the injectors are further up and thus wouldn't have the optimal spray pattern seeing that it might hit the sidewalls of the injector hole. Probably not bad enough to cause a concern though - I will leave it to the guys who have ran bigger injectors like this to speak up.
