TEIN NA here, on a BE. It was on the car when i got it, has different springs than they were sold with (softer), but i definitely like the handling and ride a lot more than the HAs i had on my wagon.

Very happy.

I have WRX Tein Flex on my 97 BD, they were on the car when I bought it.

The ride is very stiff (spring rates are 559/447), and the car is quite low, but I like it. Right now I'm not sure that they are adjusted 100% right, and I'm hoping to play with them a little once I get my new wheels on.

One thing to be aware of if you're going to run suspension designed for the WRX is that your front pillowtops will not sit straight due to the different (rotated) bolt pattern of the WRX vs the BD/BG legacy.

Dan Cech - were the Teins requiring any modification to fit, other than the pillowtop rotation?

seriously matt, do you even attempt to search the forums at all before posting?

Tein HA, 8k front and rear, like them, actually could be stiffer(but i do have it on full soft dampening right now)

PHATSuby - is the first line in your post intended for me?
If so, I apologise - but I see so much conflicting information on this board, it's always good to get direct information from owners.

They were already installed on the car when I bought it, but I believe they were not modified at all.

I'm waiting to hear back from tein whether I can just source and swap the adjustment plates from the GC8 flex to solve that problem. Failing that I'll probably just have some new plates machined up.

With a little luck my new wheels will be showing up sometime this week and I'll have some time to play with adjusting the flex to see if I can't improve the ride at all.
