18" Volk CE28N Width Suggestion

Trying to decide on these wheel sizes, 18-7.5 +48 or 18-8, +44. I currently have 225/40/18 tires on 18-7.5 +48 Rota Subzero's. Don't want rubbing issues. Right now on STI Version 7 Strut Assemblies (red struts/black springs), but plan on lowering it more soon with lowering springs.
Anyone have any suggestions? I did search but did not find a good answer.

iam running 18x8.5 +44 with 245-35-18 tires. dont rub at all and iam dropped 14" in the front (the top of the fender to the center of the hub) and 13.5" in the rear.

u'll be fine with 18x8 +44.
